Why WorkpaperOS exists
Professional work deserves a workspace built around completion.
Professional work remains fragmented across spreadsheets, documents, email, portals, and disconnected applications. Evidence is collected in one place, calculations are performed in another, and review notes and approvals are tracked somewhere else.
WorkpaperOS was created from firsthand experience performing this work in public accounting, operating a private CPA practice, implementing enterprise systems, and supporting regulated organizations. The goal is not merely to track professional work. It is to help professionals perform, document, review, and complete it in one controlled workspace.

His career includes work with PwC in Virginia, Akintola Williams in Cameroon, a Fortune-scale healthcare enterprise, and leadership of a Richmond-based accounting firm.
He qualified through ACCA before becoming a US CPA, bringing an ISA- and IFRS-rooted perspective to products designed for professionals working across standards and jurisdictions. His MBA focused on SAP Finance, and his professional development includes Harvard Business School Online's AI for Leaders program and more than a decade as an Oxford Brookes University Registered Mentor.
He created AttestWork and WorkpaperOS Books to place AI inside the professional workflow—connected to the engagement file, accounting evidence, review status, and audit trail—while keeping final posting, conclusions, approval, and sign-off with the responsible professional.

A 90-day catalyst for building in production
The Build with Gemini XPRIZE, organized by XPRIZE and backed by Google, provided the catalyst and 90-day build window that pushed WorkpaperOS to develop, launch, and test AttestWork and WorkpaperOS Books. Development began May 26, 2026, within the May 19-August 17, 2026 competition period.
The competition encouraged participants to build AI-native businesses with real users, production evidence, and real-world impact. That emphasis reinforced our approach: AI should operate inside the professional workflow while accountable people retain review, judgment, approval, and sign-off.
